SWEAT-on-the-GO Virtual Membership
Are you not able or don’t have time to actually come in studio? Prefer to have the freedom to workout wherever you want? Tv, laptop, or phone…you can take SWEAT-on-the-GO literally anywhere, anytime. In April of 2020, our gym had to close it’s doors due to the pandemic, but we got creative and turned our fitness studio into a recording studio. We went live 3 times a day for our members to have the ability to still workout anywhere. We loaned out dumbbells to those who needed them and we made it work with minimal equipment. We are happy to report that we still golive everyday at 6am. We record each of those live workouts and post them, as replays, for members to utilize. Some use this virtual option when they travel and some live out of city, state or country.
As a military town, members are always coming and going. This gives our devoted members the opportunity to still be a part of our SWEAT Tribe even when they get orders to move to a new duty station. This just might be the solution to your fitness needs!
Running Club Member
Encouraging an active lifestyle inside and outside our studio is key in being balanced and preventing burnout.
Do you want to learn how to run or maybe you have your heart set on setting new PR race time? Calling all non runners, new runners, joggers and racers!
Our Running Club is a new program coming to S.W.E.A.T. Camp this year. Trainer, Elizabeth Cella, is also a certified running coach and will be leading our run club. She’s a Boston Marathon runner and has countless other races under her belt, as well. She is excited to share her knowledge and passion for running with any of our members who would like to learn or simply improve.
Once you have joined, you will have the ability to work one-on-one with Elizabeth. First, you will meet to discuss your goals and what you wish to get out of the program. From there, she will decide how often you should meet up and what level of coaching you’ll need. She will write out a training schedule just for you and hold you accountable every step of the way.
Topics and learning might include: proper running form, running shoes/gear, supplements/nutrition, tempo runs, rest/recovery & importance of “Off days”, strength training and flexibility for runners. Through her experience and insight, Elizabeth would love to be your biggest cheerleader! We know running isn’t for everyone, but you never know until you try, and what better way that to do it right, with a certified coach!

Inclusion and that family atmosphere is one of the best compliments our studio could receive because that is where you can let your guard down, grow as a person and even make new connections with people.
We post all current and upcoming events in studio! Join in the fun!
Community Outreach
Whether its hosting a blood drive at the studio or picking up trash along the highway, our coaches and members love to get involved and make a difference, right here in our Eastern North Carolina community! This does two things, it gets our name out in the community, but also encourages members and their families to serve others by setting a good example. Paying it forward can also have a huge impact on mental health. Not only does it make you feel good, but it lowers blood pressure, increases self-esteem, lowers depression, and lowers stress levels.
Some of the charities and non-profit organizations reached out to us, and others are important to our current members. A few of these organizations include The Blood Connection, The Coastal Women’s Shelter, Toys for Tots, Alzheimer’s Association, Capital Humane Society, The Bike Box Project (for Parkinson’s disease) and hosting site for RockSteady Boxing of New Bern, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Operation Christmas Child Packing Party, Children’s Organ Transplant Association, and Religious Community Service.
We encourage our members to reach out to us for these important causes, so we can help in any way we can. Together we are better.
Nutrition
One of the most frequent topics we are asked about is diet and nutrition. Proper nutrition is important for the immune system and meeting weight loss goals, but also to maintain the energy needed to crush your workouts! S.W.E.A.T. Camp provides the fitness piece, but how you fuel your body is going to determine everything else.
You’re busy thought! We get it! Thats why we are excited to be partnered with Refection Foods in Morehead City. Refection Foods provides healthy meal prep options for those looking for a quick, convenient and fresh meal. No added salt, butter, grease or empty calories. They only use fresh veggies, lean meats, delicious herbs and spices to help you fuel your body through the day.
We’re not trying to sell you on a specific diet, we’re here to help cater to the lifestyle that your body needs. Now you can give your body what it needs for sustainability with Refection Foods.
**Refection will deliver your meal prep order to our studio for you to pick up.
